The first way for you to set up the account is send an email to myself at surendra@yamdagni.com and I will ask the people holding to set a new name for yourself. Once that is done, within 2 working days, you can follow the procedures outlined below to set up your own email address. I shall inform you two parameters that you need to setup your email address -
Account Name - Normally your first name
Password - prashuram1 (You can change this later by sending your password to techsupport@yamdagni.com)
I have chosen a program know as Microsoft Outlook Express as this is a free software and anybody can download this from the Microsoft Website http://www.microsoft.com . Please download the latest version. The version shown in this setup procedure is Outlook Express Version 5.0 (Build 5.00.2919.6600).
Start Outlook Express and then press on the top menu bar "TOOLS".
Press Accounts to get following menu to add the type of account
Choose Add - Mail from the left handside
This is the startup procedure for entering and editing your email configuration. Please enter your full name here
On pressing next you will be asked to put in your email address. If you recall I have given you two parameters, you need to type the account name, normally your first name, I gave you. Use this and type accountname@yamdagni.com. Press Next.
This next screen is for you to put in the mail servers that will be used to send the emails. Please type the following -
The next Menu is an important one and you will use this to give your account parameters that I have initially sent yourself. You will also use this menu for changing the password in case you would like to modify the same. If you want to modify the password you need to send an email to techsupport@yamdagni.com and the people who are hosting the site in the US will make this change for you.
After you press next here you will get to the best part -
YES !!! You have finished and you can use your email now. Welcome to the world of Yamdagni's network.
